Following Christ in Obedience

Many people who accept Christ in Iraq lose their families, friends, homes, jobs, and more. Therefore, making the decision to be baptized, a public display of one’s commitment to trusting Christ and following Him, is huge! We do not believe that you need to be baptized in order to be saved, but baptism for a person in the Middle East signals the point of no return. It labels them as a believer. So we do urge them to take this step and identify with Christ. At Light of Life, we have had the privilege of seeing many come to Christ and choose to follow Him in obedience by being baptized.

If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. -Matthew 16:24
