You are making a difference!
Because of you, refugees from Iraq and Syria are being fed and clothed. They have also heard the gospel message because of you. Our churches simply could not be thriving as they are without your help. The message is breaking through. As one dear Muslim woman told me, “Do not think that we have not recognized that in the hour of our greatest need, it has been the Christians who have showed us love.”

Over the course of the last year, we provided over 1,000 care packages to refugees in need. We fill the packages with cooking oil, rice, flour, and many other food staples. One bag provides 84 meals for a family of four. That is a week’s worth of food for a hungry family! But that is not all that is that bag. In every one is a New Testament. When you support feeding a family, you are providing for their physical needs while also giving us a chance to reach them spiritually. This is a constant need and we thank those who have helped meet the need throughout the year.
Thank you to those who have decided feed a family for a week at $30. Thank you also to those who have decided that they want to do it for a month at $120.
Jesus called himself the Light of Life. Every winter we reach out to families with the light of the gospel message. We like to say that we shed light in a dark place.
But, there is also coldness that inflicts the people in the mountains of Iraq. We are talking about a physical coldness that can be chilling. Because of this, families must gather together around one kerosene heater at night when they sleep. We have provided heaters in the past as well as blankets. This winter we want to go even further by supplying the kerosene they need.
It is heart breaking to hear of families having to sell their heaters because they cannot afford kerosene.
We also ask you to pray about sponsoring a family for an entire winter with warmth for $125.
God has opened a door for us to start a school in a small village. This village sits about 30 minutes outside the major city of Duhok. Because of all the fighting in Iraq, a generation of children have lost the chance at a real education as the schools are unable to educate them. In this small village, we have the chance to teach the more than 100 students English 4 days a week. We use the Bible as our curriculum.
These children suffer from poor hygiene. They need simple items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, bar soap, general cleaning soap, a bucket to rinse in, and cloths to clean with.
Would you help one or more of these children have the precious hygiene they need? This is an ongoing monthly need that you can meet with a $10 donation.

Reaching Out with the Gospel Message
Almost 25% of those living in Iraq are unable to read. Here, one of our church planters gives an audio Bible to a man who cannot read. It will be his first opportunity to hear
Reaching Out to the Homeless
Because of you, this young man, his widow mother, and his sister were able to have enough to eat for a week and received a Bible as well.
